Hello dear members of

I am writing this journal basically because I feel this group just isn't what it used to be. Don't know how everyone else feels/thinks about it but I remember when this group first started there was so much excitement and charizard spirit. Many varieties of deviations were being submitted every day (there still is, but no where near as much as it used to be).

To keep this group fun and exciting, we used to have regular contests and journal updates. I've noticed that the journal in this group hasn't been updated since a bit before Christmas 2011!!! (until now...) Just made me wonder what happened.

I think we can make this group so much more than it currently is. Not saying this is the worse group or its bad or anything....just, we can make this group awesome.

I think we all should totally kick-start this group again. I loved the sense of community and common interest when it first opened and hey, we are all charizard fans, are we not?? Let's celebrate this badass pokemon and make our group the best one out there!!! What do you think?

and what a great way to kick-start this group than with a contest? It won't be officially held here in the group but fortunately, one of our members has opened up a Charizard contest! Theme? Charizard (of course ^^ ) Contestants just have to make a piece of art focusing on Charizard....how simple is that? and to top it off the 1st place winner will receive a legitimately caught SHINY CHARMANDER!!! that is if you own/have access to a gen 4. game and a ds/3ds console.
